I’m curious as to how you are going to stay motivated in 2011?
- What are your plans?
- Inspirations?
- Outlooks?
- Goals?
- Milestones?

What we are learning
- Staying motivated.
- 3 things to focus on.
- Capitalize on last year’s investments.
The Big 3
Surpirsed that I’m narrowing down to 3? Faithful readers know I love the number 3. It’s about all I can focus on in any given project or milestone.
1. Throwing Out The Trash
It’s 2011 and time to make moves; throw out the trash. Chris Garrett just posted about this over here.
No more carrying dead weight. Make moves with people, services, and ideas that get it done. Stay agile and don’t dwell on long drawn out deals in 2011.
2. Open Lines Of Communication And Sales
2010 brought us a lot of information on social media.
- How-to build a Facebook following.
- How-to tweet.
- Form realtime relationships.
Talk is cheap.
Now it’s time to put it into action. Start converting off of that audience you built over the last year. Not just on tangible sales but on getting the feedback and discussion that is of positive value. That’s what I’m all about in 2011 for Slocum Design Studio.
3. Blog And 2-Weeks 2-Learn
For me, I really want to build up the blog and learning experience I can deliver to my readers. If you don’t already know, 2-Weeks 2-Learn is a new “members only” learning group that I’ve put together. Applying is free, learn more here.
You don’t know it yet, but by the end of February you won’t be visiting this blog anymore. I’m in the process of a total rebrand and redesign that I’m super excited about.
Look for great things to come on the blog in 2011!
